"I have tried to make myself a complete coach - while some coaches are just good at teaching specific shots and others can teach the technical aspects, I have aimed to become an expert in teaching all facets of the game. This means that I can pass on a more balanced outlook to my students, helping them to not only iron out any problems with their technique, but also to learn the psychology of the game and how to use it to best advantage in a match."

A lesson from Joe Minici in either billiards or snooker is the ideal way to set yourself on the path to success on the table. Joe has spent years mastering the techniques and theory needed to win the Australian Billiards Championship twice and take him to the number one ranking in Australia. He is also in the top 4 in Australia for snooker, so his mastery of both games gives him an edge which few players can claim. Joe is the only player to be ranked in the top 4 of both billiards and snooker in Australia.

Ironically, one of the keys to Joe's success as a coach is that he was not naturally gifted when he started playing the game. Some players can pick up a cue for the first time and start potting balls, but Joe needed to work at the game for years before reaching the top level, which means that he has taken the time to study and fully understand the techniques and concepts which can help you become a better player.

Joe's down-to-earth and friendly manner makes him very easy to get along with, which is why he is one of the most popular players on the Australian circuit.

Your first lesson with Joe will start with you playing some simple shots, so that Joe can identify your strengths and weaknesses and determine what you need to work on. He will demonstrate the proper technique, then work with you until you too can perform it. At the end of the lesson Joe will give you a few things to think about and a few things to practice - your success from the coaching will obviously rely on your application of the concepts you learn, so a couple of days later you should get back onto a table and run through the practice drills. If there is anything you cannot quite remember clearly, Joe will make himself available to give you a reminder.

Whether you want to master the game and become a professional player, or just want a few pointers on how to improve your game for club comps, coaching from Joe Minici is the solution. For more information, or to make an enquiry, Email Joe now.
